The Process

A.D. FloorCare, Inc. uses specially weighted floor machines designed specifically for cleaning and restoring natural stone. We utilize mostly wet grinding and polishing methods so dust is at a minimum and our stone technicians use a variety of protective products to protect surrounding areas such as wood, carpeting and paint.

A.D. FloorCare, Inc. employs cleaning and restoration products specifically formulated for stone, most of which are pH neutral and are safe to all surfaces.

STONE RESTORATION
Our stone technicians utilize diamond abrasives with the equipment to restore your stone surface. The use of diamonds in the grinding and honing phase of restoration will give you better clarity and more reflectivity after polishing.

We also provide cleaning, sealing, crack/chip repair and stain removal for marble, granite, travertine, terrazzo and all other natural stone surfaces.

• Grinding - is to remove deep scratches and lippage (uneven tile edges) if required
• Honing - To remove minor scratches and wear from everyday foot traffic
• Polishing - To give the stone the finish you want, and to enhance the veining and color in the stone. Finishes include honed, matte, satin and high gloss
• Cleaning - To remove dirt, light staining and bacteria and to remove waxes and polymers that have built up on the surface left by hardware store type cleaners and polishes, and to remove chemicals or substances from everyday use such as cooking oil, makeup, hair care products, etc
